Retractable exterior screen installation at VillaVerde garden centre, Antibes (France)
Retractable exterior screens are increasingly chosen as protection for plants and customers on outdoor sales departments of garden centres. In the spring of 2017, Holland Scherming installed a retractable exterior screen installation at VillaVerde garden centre in Antibes, France.
Technique
Horizontal exterior screen installation with push-pull drive.The screen material hangs from a metal construction and can be closed during bad weather circumstances (or an abundance of sunshine!). This helps establishing a comfortable climate for the plants as well as the people shopping.
Focus points
At VillaVerde, Holland Scherming was also responsible for installing the steel construction that holds the screen material. Besides that, the right angle of the screen is an important factor with exterior screens, to help the rain sliding of the retractable roof.
