New screen hall with retractable horizontal outdoor screen Mularski, Poland
In 2015/2016, Holland Scherming installed 2,2 Ha of retractable, horizontal outdoor abri screens for the protection of young vegetable plants at Mularski, Poland. The newly created screen hall protects the young plants from cold weather and frost.
Technique
The hall is covered by a horizontal outdoor screen installation with a retractable OLS Abri screen. The installation is driven by a push-pull mechanism. The screen material hangs with plastic hooks on guidance cables.
Besides the roof screens, we also installed roller screens to make it possible to create a fully closed breeding hall.
Focus points
The horizontal screen installation was positioned under a light angle, to improve drainage.
