Shading in atrium provides comfort at the Zeist city hall
With the upcoming summer, spaces under glass roofs can be pretty hot. This is why Holland Scherming starts installing a shading system in the atrium of the Zeist city hall this week. The new shading will provide an even better working environment for the employees and visitors of the city hall.
Different sizes and angles of roof construction
The profiles that hold the glass roof construction vary in size and angle. This is a huge challenge for an optimized working of the roof roller system. To make sure the system runs smoothly, our R&D department has developed a number of filler pieces that eliminate these differences. A public space like this also requests an aesthetic solution. Therefore we’ve placed the engines out of sight. We’ve also painted the installation the same colour as the roof construction.
