Dear Business Partners and Stakeholders,

The Coronavirus outbreak is having a huge impact on The Netherlands and the rest of the world. This is especially true for the people who are infected with the virus and on those who are close to them.

Our economies have been hit severely. Stock markets have suffered substantial losses and businesses all over the world are trying to cope with the unknown.

In light of this I would like to inform you about how we, within the BOAL Group, are doing our utmost to minimize the impact of the pandemic.

• First of all, we follow very strictly the instructions from our national government and RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment). Similarly, our subsidiary in the UK is
following the instructions of its government;
• Secondly, we have instructed our staff, where possible, to work from home;
• Thirdly, we’ve stopped shaking hands, are keeping appropriate distances, avoiding meetings and postponing visits by and to business partners for the time being.

So far, we’ve been able to continue running our business largely as normal and the production locations have maintained their usual capacity. From the supply of raw material, material handling, production, to shipment, BOAL is still well positioned to fulfil your orders. On the basis of today’s knowledge, we are expecting to continue doing so.

As mentioned, this outbreak is having a big impact on people and on all companies around the world. We will do everything we can to keep our companies up and running and expect from our business partners appropriate cooperation. This means that in case you are in need of support, you do not wait until it is too late. Please talk to us as we will talk to you. This headwind is too big to fight alone: together we can and will succeed.

Stay strong. Partnership now more than ever.

Kind regards,

Ronald Boers
CEO BOAL Group
